Starting Solids Can Feel Overwhelming!
You want to do what’s best for your child’s development. But this is all new! You have no idea where to begin, when to start, or what to feed your baby. You’re nervous, too—about safety, choking, allergenic foods, and doing what is “right.”
We know how you feel because even as feeding therapists and a pediatric dietitian and speech-language pathologist when our kids were starting solids, we felt it too.

Hi! I’m Kristen. Pediatric dietitian(RD), feeding therapist and mom—who was scared of starting solids, too.
Trust me when I say I get it! With my first son, I made all the homemade purees. But he wanted none of them. Out of necessity, I learned about baby-led weaning. The more I learned, the more I loved the approach. So we jumped in, and from there, it went great!
But, no two kids are the same! With my second, I was gung-ho about BLW, but he was not. He showed signs that meant we needed extra support. So, I learned about adapted BLW and jumped in again!
I am a mom first, so I know how overwhelming this can be! Even with all the training I had, I was nervous. If you are too, you’re not alone.

Hi! I’m Sarah. Pediatric speech pathologist (SLP), feeding therapist, certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and mom—who was in your shoes, too.
As a mother of two, I’ve been there— navigating feeding challenges, advocating for my children, and feeling the stress that comes with those struggles.
Feeding your baby should be a joyful bonding experience, not an overwhelming source of stress. We’re here to help you and your child learn the skills and strategies you need to make mealtimes positive, enjoyable, and fulfilling.
You are not alone, and together, we can turn these challenges into opportunities for connection and growth!
In our Virtual Starting Solids Workshops, we use clinical and real-life experience to help you take the overwhelm out of feeding your baby.
In 90 minutes over Zoom, you’ll learn to safely and confidently introduce solid food to your baby. And actually enjoy the process! From a pediatric RD, a SLP and moms who understands the struggle.

“If it wasn’t for Kristen, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to try half the things my son now loves to eat!”
As a first-time mom, I had no idea what I should feed my baby, when to start feeding my baby, how to cook his food, etc! After taking Kristen’s class I felt so much more confident starting solids. Her course was easy to understand, fast and I learned so much! If it wasn’t for Kristen’s course I don’t think I would have had the confidence to try half the things my son now loves to eat!
